Family Reading

The Brucedale Press is the publishing division of Broad Horizons Books, established in 1976 and serving the book needs of its community. Broad Horizons Books compiled the database Bruce in Print, began the workshop series Authors in August, and hosted many other book-related events. As of 2023, The Brucedale Press has more than 55 titles in print for readers of all ages. The Leaf, begun in 1997 as a newsletter, became a twice-yearly journal in  2004. Our outreach includes participation in such events as Bruce County Heritage Show, Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre events and  fairs around the area. Check the calendar link for where and when to find us. All our books are proudly produced as close to home as possible, and always  within Ontario. The Brucedale Press is an affiliate of Open Book Ontario and a member of the  Ontario Book Publishers Organization. On the Web since 1998, we ship books to readers across Canada and beyond.
